Clean Fields
It is imperative that both Travel and Intramural teams be responsible for cleaning up their fields following their respective games.
This includes both sidelines. Empty bottles, orange peels and other assorted garbage must be removed from the fields. The Hauppauge Soccer Club has received numerous complaints from the High School regarding trash which is left remaining on the fields. PLEASE KEEP THE FIELDS CLEAN.

Parental Behavior
It is Hauppauge Soccer Club policy that all parents attending a soccer game be responsible for conducting themselves in a manner which is conducive to sportsmanship, positive and beneficial to the players. As parents, it is your responsibility to provide a good example so our children can enjoy a positive experience at the soccer field. Displaying sportsmanship on the sidelines as well as exhibiting a constructive reinforcing attitude for the children during the course of a contest is imperative to a successful day for the children. Conduct contrary to this will leave the children with a poor experience and will most certainly
cause ill will among the other parents. Expressing open commentary which is negative, unconstructive and otherwise insulting is detrimental to everyone involved. In addition, it is extremely frustrating and insulting for the volunteer coaches to have to listen to and endure such behavior. After all, the purpose of the soccer games is for the children and parents to enjoy a fun day and to have a positive experience. Poor behavior by the parents will not be tolerated by the Hauppauge Soccer Club. If, as a parent you feel that you cannot control your behavior during the course of a game, it might be suggested that you remain away from the field of play so as not to insult the adults and children who came out for a day of fun. If you choose to act in a way which is detrimental to sportsmanship you may be asked to leave the immediate playing area. Cancellation of Games
If a soccer game is going to be canceled due to inclement weather, all parents will be notified by the coach of your son's or daughter's team. The decision to cancel games is made exclusively by the Vice President of Operations and by the Intramural Coordinator.
