The U9 Hauppauge Cobras FC made history this weekend, earning their first-ever travel win with a strong performance against the Elwood Stars.
The action began when Hudson Jacobs sent a perfect pass through the defense to Justin Bonn, who ripped a powerful shot on goal. Though the initial attempt was stopped, Daniel Owens was quick to pounce on the rebound, knocking it home to put the Cobras on the board.
Later in the match, Logan Palermo electrified the field with an impressive dribbling sequence, weaving past defenders before firing a shot into the back of the net for the team’s second goal.
The Cobras showed tremendous teamwork, determination, and composure throughout the game, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting inaugural season.
Great work, boys! Keep the momentum going!
