Updated: Sep 13

The Hauppauge Rowdies made a statement at the 2024 East Meadow Summer Tournament, going 4-0 in the Platinum division and capturing the gold. With an unstoppable blend of defensive solidity and offensive firepower, the Rowdies emerged victorious over strong competition, including Terryville, East Coast, Albertson, and SUSA.

The team's defense was the backbone of their success, allowing just three goals throughout the tournament. Goalkeeper Aubrey Pirnat was sensational, making key saves to keep the Rowdies in control. Defenders Lily Aspromgos, Mya Cameron, and Lilly Rogers were rock-solid, consistently shutting down the opposing attacks and giving their team the foundation to push forward.

On the offensive side, the Rowdies were unstoppable, netting 12 goals over the course of the tournament. Hailey Karcz was the standout performer, leading the charge with four goals, including both crucial goals in the 2-1 finals win over SUSA. Giuliana Cerulli added to the scoring tally with three goals, while Alexa Hughes scored twice. Lindsey Leinz, Teagan Parchen, and Frankie Thomas each chipped in with a goal as well, rounding out the Rowdies' relentless attack.

Lexie Pinzon also played a key role, contributing to the team’s dynamic offense with her creativity and work rate.

The Rowdies now turn their focus to their upcoming fall season, where they will compete in the challenging EDP Division. With their impressive tournament win under their belts, the team will look to carry their momentum into the next phase of competition.
